A low rise gated community of nine two-story buildings comprising a total 120 Units, complete with pool area and Community Room, forms the Condominium. The properties, completed in the second half of 2005, offer a selection of floor plans each with their own front door leading on to beautifully landscaped areas. There are several golf courses ‘ on the doorstep’ including, Pinebrook GC, Heather Hills GC, Timber Creek GC and Manatee GC to name but four. The IMG Academy is less than a mile away.

With close links to I-75, US 41 and US 301 one can enjoy, within an hours drive, the pleasures of Tampa,St Pete Beach and St Petersburg via the Skyway Bridge. Venice, Fort Myers and Naples are readily accessible to the south via I-17.

Tampa International Airport is one hour and the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport is just 15 minutes from Bay Pointe. For the young at heart Busch Gardens is an hour away and the wonders of Disney and the Orlando area are only a two hour drive.

Bay Pointe at Cortez Condominium has a very proactive Owners Board and day-to-day management is contracted out to a specialist Management Company which, together with its owners, ensures Bay Pointe remains the place to live
